Community & Listing Rules
These rules apply to profiles, products, supplier posts, customer requests, quotes, messages, uploaded documents and other content submitted to FurFinds.
Be accurate, lawful and respectful. Do not use FurFinds to mislead, threaten, impersonate, spam or sell prohibited goods.
Allowed use
- Genuine supplier profiles and lawful real, faux, vintage, pre-owned or new fur-related products.
- Honest customer requests for products the customer genuinely intends to consider.
- Accurate quotes with clear prices, currency, shipping and lead-time information.
- Relevant, respectful conversations about products, measurements, provenance, delivery and after-sales support.
Prohibited listings and claims
- Counterfeit, stolen, unsafe or unlawfully imported goods.
- Protected-species goods or controlled wildlife products offered without the permits or provenance required by law.
- False claims about fur species, real or faux status, brand, origin, condition, authenticity, stock or price.
- Misleading discounts, hidden compulsory charges or bait listings that are not genuinely available.
- Images or descriptions you do not own or have permission to use.
- Products or conduct that break applicable sanctions, customs, consumer, wildlife, intellectual-property or criminal law.
Prohibited behaviour
- Fraud, phishing, payment diversion, impersonation or requests for passwords and unnecessary identity documents.
- Harassment, threats, hate, stalking or disclosure of another person’s private information.
- Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, fake enquiries, scraping or attempts to interfere with the service.
- Fabricated evidence, coordinated reporting abuse or attempts to evade a suspension.
- Moving a user off-platform to avoid an investigation or pressure them into an unsafe payment method.
Product images and posts
Images must show the product fairly and must not disguise significant defects. Edited, AI-generated or illustrative images must not be presented as photographs of the exact item when that would mislead a customer.
Supplier posts must remain relevant to the supplier’s business and products. Do not post unrelated promotions, engagement bait or repeated duplicate content.
Enforcement
FurFinds considers context, seriousness, evidence, repetition and risk. Action may include a warning, content removal, reduced visibility, feature restriction, temporary suspension, permanent removal or referral to an appropriate authority.
Illegal or high-risk content may be removed immediately. FurFinds may preserve relevant records even after public content is removed.
