Intellectual Property Complaints
Use this process for copyright, trademark, design-right, image-ownership, counterfeit-branding or impersonation concerns involving content hosted by FurFinds.
Credit is not a substitute for permission. FurFinds may remove or restrict disputed content while a credible claim is investigated.
Information required
- Your full name, organisation and contact details.
- The right you own or are authorised to enforce.
- A link or clear description of the original protected work or mark.
- Every FurFinds URL or item you want reviewed.
- Why the use is unauthorised or misleading.
- Evidence of ownership or authority to act.
- A statement that the information is accurate and submitted in good faith.
Submitting a notice
Email the information to no-reply@furfinds.online with the subject “IP complaint”. Do not send unnecessary identity documents. FurFinds may request more evidence where ownership or authority is unclear.
Review and response
FurFinds may remove, disable or limit access to content while reviewing a credible notice. The uploader may be told about the complaint and given a chance to respond unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful.
FurFinds may restore content where a complaint is withdrawn, unsupported or successfully challenged. Repeat infringement or deliberate impersonation may result in account suspension or removal.
False or abusive claims
Do not submit a claim you know is false or materially misleading. FurFinds may restrict accounts that abuse the complaint process and may preserve notices for legal defence or fraud prevention.
