FurFinds uses limited cookies, local browser storage and server logs to keep accounts secure, remember useful session details and understand whether the service is working.
FurFinds does not currently use third-party advertising cookies. Essential authentication and security storage cannot be switched off without breaking account features.
Essential cookies and storage
- Authentication cookies used by Supabase to keep you signed in and route you to the correct account area.
- Security and session information used to prevent abuse, enforce timeouts and protect forms or APIs.
- Short-lived browser storage used by interactive features such as Fifi or interface state where needed.
Measurement and technical logs
FurFinds records limited first-party page-view events such as page type, path, supplier or product reference and timestamp. Hosting and security providers may also create request logs containing technical information such as IP address, browser and response status.
These records are used for security, fault diagnosis, capacity planning and basic service measurement. They are not used to build third-party advertising profiles.
Managing browser storage
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Removing essential authentication storage will sign you out and may stop protected account features from working.
If FurFinds later introduces non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies, it will provide suitable controls before those cookies are set where consent is required.
