Complaints & Appeals
Use this process to complain about FurFinds’ service or challenge a moderation, listing, supplier approval or account decision.
A report concerns another user or content. A complaint concerns how FurFinds handled something. An appeal challenges a FurFinds decision affecting you.
What you can complain about
- A report that you believe was not handled properly.
- Content you believe remains illegal or prohibited.
- A listing, message or account action taken against you.
- A supplier application, identity-change or verification decision.
- A privacy, accessibility, security or service issue.
- A repeated technical failure preventing an important account feature from working.
How to submit a complaint or appeal
Email no-reply@furfinds.online with the subject “Complaint” or “Appeal”. Include your account email, the relevant URL or decision, important dates, the outcome you want and any evidence FurFinds should review.
Suppliers may use their private support conversation instead. Submit an appeal promptly after the decision. FurFinds may decline repeated complaints that raise no new facts or are abusive.
How FurFinds reviews it
Where practical, someone who did not make the original decision will review the evidence, the applicable rules and whether the action was proportionate. FurFinds may contact other affected users where necessary and lawful.
The outcome may uphold, change or reverse the original decision. Some information may be withheld to protect another person, prevent abuse, preserve security or comply with law.
Possible outcomes
- No further action.
- An explanation or correction.
- Restoration, editing or removal of content.
- A warning, restriction, suspension or reversal of an account action.
- A process or security improvement.
- Referral to a supplier, payment provider, regulator or authority where appropriate.

This process does not remove any right to contact a regulator, payment provider, law-enforcement body, court or other dispute-resolution service. Privacy complaints may also be made to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
